Rec Room will host its first music event tomorrow with Jessia
Are you excited to see Jessia perform live tomorrow in this virtual music event?
Earlier today, Rec Room announced it will partner with Republic Records in a series of monthly music events, beginning tomorrow with a performance by Jessia.
Dubbed Fourth Fridays, tomorrow’s performance will mark the first in a year-long collaboration between the two companies. Jessia will perform live from Rec Room Theater tomorrow at 3 P.M. Pacific Time. This virtual event is also free to attend from any device with an internet connection.
Rec Room, known for its welcoming social platform and user-friendly video game creation tools, also has a storied history in the world of music through its virtual community. Throughout the past year, the virtual platform received numerous requests to sponsor virtual music events. With the company’s new partnership with Republic Records, Mike Schmid, Rec Room’s Head of Publishing, also chimed in with his enthusiasm.
We’re so excited to be partnering with a world renowned label like Republic Records to make those requests come to life in a big way. They have an incredible roster of talented artists, and we can’t wait for players to be able to experience their music together in Rec Room.

You can access the event tomorrow on all available platforms. In addition, you can also attend the show via the standalone app.
Players will be able to tune in every month to watch their favorite artists from Republic Records perform as their avatars. Following tomorrow’s performance with Jessia, “Straightjacket” singer-songwriter Quinn XCII will perform in February.
