A silly rumor originating from French video game site JeuxActu.com linked Omikron: The Nomad Soul developer Quantic Dream with Shenmue 3.
“According to our information, Shenmue 3 is indeed a reality,” the website reported. “The game will be presented at E3 2015: this will be exclusive to the PS4, with Yu Suzuki in charge.”
Of course, this sounded farfetched, which is why we didn’t bother reporting the rumor, and this morning Quantic Dream, which just launched its Twitter account denied the report.
