PixelHeart’s next Dreamcast games ft. Legacy of Kain, SEGA Soccer

PixelHeart has steadily been giving Dreamcast fans a reason to keep the dream alive. Back in March, we reported on the European publisher selling brand new, sealed copies of PAL Dreamcast games. So far, they’ve released a whole variety of games, some more iconic than others. Soul Calibur and Virtua Striker are part of that batch, as well as Vigilante 8: Second Offense, which we reported on this month.

This week, we’ve got another pair of Dreamcast games you might be interested in. First up is Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. In Soul Reaver, you control Raziel, who is killed by his master in a power struggle. The vampire-turned-wraith makes it his goal to exact revenge on his former master, and you get to participate in the carnage.

Raziel moves between the material and spectral planes, which are the two worlds in the game. Combat is hack-and-slash style, and the puzzles you have to solve revolve around the material and spectral planes. There are only 54 copies left of this Dreamcast game, so you better act quick!

Next up is SEGA Worldwide Soccer 2000; This title was only released in Europe, so you would think they would call it football. I guess the would have just made it confusing. The series first made its debut on the SEGA Saturn, and Worldwide Soccer 2000 for the Dreamcast ended up being the final title in the franchise.

There are only 41 copies of SEGA Worldwide Soccer 2000 left. As with the previous games we reported on, these are all PAL versions of the game. You may need to get a Utopia boot disc or a GameShark (remember those?) for them to work on your NTSC Dreamcast. If you’re in Europe, I guess you’re golden!

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is selling for 32,90€ ($39.18), while SEGA Worldwide Soccer 2000 is gonna cost you 29,90€ ($35.61). Do either of these games tickle your fancy? We’ll be sure to keep reporting on the next batch of Dreamcast games PixelHeart sends out.
