Phantasy Star Online 2 coming to Xbox One, PC in Spring 2020

In what is surely one of the most surprising SEGA-related E3 announcements in some time, Phantasy Star Online 2 was revealed to be on its way to the Xbox One and PC in Spring 2020.

The game was revealed during the Microsoft E3 press conference on Sunday, along with the above trailer, and it will include crossplay functionality between the Xbox One and PC.

It appears the date is specific to the Americas at the moment, as a tweet by SEGA suggests an announcement for Europe, the Middle East and Africa will come at a later date.

PSO 2 was originally released in Japan in 2012, and SEGA America announced it would also be released in the West, but after numerous delays, SEGA pretty much stopped talking about it.

Nothing more has been yet announced about the game, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as it develops further.
