NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 update adds new rewind feature
The Nintendo Switch has become a haven of sorts for Neo Geo games for the past couple years, so it made absolute sense for SNK to release NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 on Nintendo’s handheld.
Now that the game has been released for a couple months now, SNK released a new patch for NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 that adds some “quality of life” updates, to include a rewind function to help save you from those cheap deaths or to practice combos and specials.
The update also makes it easier to unlock characters in SNK vs. Capcom: The Match of the Millennium.

- Samurai Shodown! 2
- King of Fighters R-2
- The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny
- Fatal Fury First Contact
- SNK vs. Capcom: The Match of the Millennium
- Metal Slug 1st Mission
- Metal Slug 2nd Mission
- Dark Arms
- Big Tournament Golf / Neo Turf Masters
NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 was released March 17 on the Nintendo Switch. The digital version is available for $39.99 and a physical version will release in August, by way of Limited Run Games.
