Multiversus Season 1 Patch notes have released

Multiversus Season 1

It’s been a heck of a month for the new platform-brawler MultiversusThe game has seen massive success in casual and competitive player-base after its release and EVO 2022 tournament. We still haven’t even hit the official start of season 1. But it seems we’re very close.

Developer Player First Games released the first batch of patch notes in anticipation of Season 1’s release. There’s a ton to go over and break down. Too much for one article. I’ll detail some highlights. But if you would like to go over it yourself, you can so here!

It’s great to see there’s already heavy attention to detail from Player First Games. For a game like Multiversus to succeed long-term, balance across all characters is pivotal. It’s clear the dev team knows this as the list of buffs, changes, and nerfs is seismic for the first patch. I think Taz and Velma players aren’t going to be happy. But that balance is essential for the game to keep growing.

If you missed it, we wrote a beginner’s impression of Multiversus if you’ve been on the fence about trying it out. The hype train is just starting for this quirky little fighter. So better to give it a try now than later! What do you think of the patch notes? Did your main character get changed significantly? Let us know in the comments below!
