Mega Visions 2nd Indie Games Showcase kicks off this week

We love indie games at Mega Visions Magazine. Often, indie developers are solo or small studios with a passion and dedication to their craft that can be lacking in bigger titles. With that in mind, we are dedicating the month of November to showcasing indie games on our Twitch channel and through our website reviews. That’s a whole month of playing, talking about and reviewing indies! And we will have dev talks in our chat for select games!

Kicking off this week, we have three unique picks for your viewing pleasure.

Trifox is ready to embark on an adventure

Trifox, from Glowfish Interactive, is a twin-stick action-adventure platformer. Calling back to the top-down games of yore, this adorable multiclass character is ready to leap into action. Each class has its own style for a wild, tail whipping ride. It might not be a tale of revenge, but he’ll stop at nothing to get his home back.

The Chant heard around Twitch

The Chant, a new survival horror from Brass Token, might just be competition for Supermassive Games, if the sneak peeks we’ve seen are any indication. Jessica wanted to heal the past, not get caught up in a destructive Gloom world filled with horrific creatures, changing landscapes and insane cultists. Balancing her mental, spiritual, and physical health will determine whether she and the rest of the people on Glory Island can escape one hell of a weekend.

Marauders fights for their right to live

And last but not least, we have Marauders. Coming to us from Small Impact Games, the FPS asks the question “what if the Great War never ended?” Set in a dystopian diesel punk 1990’s world, humans have mostly fled Earth for other heavenly bodies, hoping to have a better future. But that doesn’t seem to be in the cards. Playing a game of wits and getting to loot boxes first might be the only way to survive.

We can’t wait to share these games with you. Catch us on Twitch Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights this week.

We will be back next week with a fresh batch of indie titles and more streaming goodness. Stay tuned!

Alicia Graves

A bit nerdy, a bit punk rock princess, and a whole lot of mom, I'm constantly in motion. I have an enthusiasm for gaming and the cultural complexities of entertainment, both past and present. I don’t believe in limiting myself to one kind of genre in books, comics, manga, anime, music or movies. I prefer to seek out hidden gems in panned pieces, uniqueness in the mundane and new outlooks on nuances.
