[Update] LittleBigPlanet 3 announcement could be about Sumo Digital

[Update: Welp, it turns out this ” exciting announcement” was for a stupid in-game competition for Tearaway.]

During our interview with Sumo Digital producer Steve Lycett, he skirted around the topic of whether Sumo Digital was actively developing Sony’s LittleBigPlanet 3, only offering a hint that it was rather curious to see the Sumo Digital logo during Sony’s E3 press conference.

While we didn’t get that answer during the interview, we might actually get it today according to a tweet from the official LittleBigPlanet Twitter account.

It will be interesting to see if Sumo is developing LittleBigPlanet 3 what impact it will have on any future Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed downloadable content. Once the information is announced and if Sumo is the official developer, we’ll try to reach out to SEGA or Sumo to get an official response on the All-Stars Racing DLC issue.
