Kao the Kangaroo collector’s edition detailed

It contains a physical version of the game alongside an artbook, bobblehead figure, bouncy ball, and more.

For the ultimate Kao the Kangaroo fan (I’m sure you exist), you’re no doubt excited for the upcoming revival of the series. A new Kao the Kangaroo game is due next week, with our favorite boxing marsupial strapping on the gloves for a whole new adventure. And we now have word of a collector’s edition for Kao the Kangaroo that is set to launch at the end of the year.

Dubbed the Kaollector Edition (what else what it be called?), it contains a bunch of goodies for Kao fans. An artbook, a Kao bobblehead figure, a premium box — it’s a mighty respectable collection indeed.

The Kao the Kangaroo collector’s edition will launch in Q4 2022. Tate Interactive has made the supply extremely limited, with only 5000 copies available. No price has been announced yet, but needless to say, this could go very quickly.

Inside the Kao the Kangaroo collector’s edition

The collector’s edition for Kao the Kangaroo includes a physical copy of the game on the console of your choice in a premium outer box. You’ll also receive a hardcover artbook featuring 52 pages of original artwork.

For other goodies, you get a bouncing ball with the Kao logo that is supposedly “as bouncy as Kao.” It also comes with a 15cm bobblehead figurine of the kangaroo (apparently, his first ever official figure). And each copy contains a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.

Kao the Kangaroo launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on May 27. The PC version will be available on both Steam and Epic Games Store. You can buy standard edition digitally for $29.99 or pick up a physical copy for $34.99.

Are you going after this collector’s edition? Will you be playing the game when it launches this week? Let us know!
