We all know Varre. You step out to explore this vast, beautiful world, and suddenly this little weasel declares you maidenless. Admittedly, you probably wanted to slice him up at least a bit when you came across him. Even better, though, is now we know what he looks like, and we know he looks quite punchable. Elden Ring dataminer Zullie the Witch on YouTube discovered various faces from friendly NPCs—and you can recreate them yourself.
What the Elden Ring dataminer revealed
Elden Ring has a rather extensive character creator. While it may not be a Dark Souls game, that certainly doesn’t mean you can’t carry over Fashion Souls into it. After all, who doesn’t want to make their character as cool as possible? However, many of the NPCs in Elden Ring are covered by masks, hoods, and hats, leaving us to wonder how fashionable they look.
YouTuber and Elden Ring dataminer Zullie the Witch puts our curiosities to rest. In a YouTube video, Zullie extracted various slider data from the NPCs in order to show everyone how they look. For example, Zullie revealed Varre to have pale skin with a smug look on his face, brown hair, and a red tattoo in the center of his forehead. He definitely looks like someone just waiting to call you maidenless.
Even Dung Eater has been unmasked, the video portraying him with long brown hair, a wide set nose, and a goatee. “Dung Eater looks exactly like what I thought he would look like,” one of the commenters added.

There are a few missing faces
However, the Elden Ring dataminer unfortunately couldn’t get everyone you’d like to see. Characters such as Ranni, Renalla, and Melina don’t have face creation data. Without that data, it can’t be brought into the character creator to show off their faces. You’ll just have to leave it up to your imagination and zooming in really, really close.
Regardless, it’s pretty cool that all these masked NPCs have a pretty wide variety of faces, especially if you’ll never actually see them in-game. And, thanks to the Elden Ring dataminer’s efforts, you can recreate these looks in your own game. By using the mirror in Fia’s room in Roundtable Hold, feel free to copy the sliders as much as you like to cosplay your favorite NPC.
