Crysis 4 announced by Crytek

Do you remember the days when PC gamers told horror stories about running Crysis on their towers? How the game sent their builds into complete disarray? Well, those old late 2000’s jokes might be coming back! Because Crytek has announced that Crysis 4 is finally in development after a long franchise hiatus! You can check out the quick 47-second teaser below in an announcement tweet!

It’s wild to think Crysis has been dormant for nine years now. The second and third installments came out so close to each other you almost forget it’s been such a long time? But I am curious to see where the fourth installment can go. The third game capped the story off where closure was given to the series’s main character. But it did leave the door slightly cracked for the series to continue. The big question is will they decide to take the sequel route or go with a reboot? That’s the big question?

No details on what systems Crysis 4 will come out on yet. But I would imagine this one will be for next-gen consoles only. Although if they get it running on a Switch, that would be hilarious. Are you excited about the next Crysis installment? Let us know below!
