Crazy Taxi spiritual successor is coming in February

Crazy Taxi is and arcade and Dreamcast classic; Its gameplay and soundtrack was revolutionary at the time and beloved by fans and critics alike.

Today, Team6 Game Studios, Lion Castle and GS2 Games announced the release of a spiritual successor to Crazy Taxi! Titled Taxi Chaos, this game uses “a fresh and modern take on classic taxi games where drivers can earn big fares by successfully picking up and dropping off customers at the destination of their choice“. From the sounds of it, the game will play quite similarly to Crazy Taxi.

Interestingly, SEGA plans to distribute Taxi Chaos in Japan and Asia. That makes this a SEGA game by proxy, right?? Taxi Chaos is coming to Switch, PS4, and Xbox One on February 23rd, 2021.
