Cotton 2, Cotton Boomerang, and Guardian Force hit PS4 and Switch

We already knew that City Connection was releasing the Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute physically in Japan. But if you are a digital buyer of all your games, good news for you!

City Connection has announced that Cotton 2Cotton Boomerang, and Guardian Force are available digitally on the PlayStation Store or Nintendo EShop. Each game sells separately for $17.99. You can find the trailer for all three games in the collection below.

All the games are the SEGA Saturn versions. The collection adds new features including a function to use rapid-fire shooting as standard, the ability to rewind to past scenes, quick save and loading, online rankings, and more!

I’ve never played the Cotton games or Guardian Force. 90s gamers have hyped up the Cotton games for years to be some of the best cute-em-up shooters ever made. The genre was popular in Japan in the ’90s and gained a cult following of players in the US. The collection and re-release will allow a new generation of players to see if the hype is worth it for all three games.

The Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute is now available in Japan for purchase from stores that ship to the US. Are you curious to try out any of the games for the first time? Let us know below!
