At this point, I believe anyone can get into Multiversus. The game has everyone from Finn & Jake to Lebron James. And, ooh-wee! Looks like we got a new fighter coming, huh, Rick? Morty Smith from Rick & Morty has made his way first into the game from the iconic duo!
In Multiversus, Morty will classify as a bruiser character. His combat looks to focus on close-quarters brawling like many of the other characters of his class. Of course, all his moves are set around elements from Rick & Morty. You can check out his reveal trailer below.
Honestly, I thought Rick & Morty were coming to Multiversus as a duo like Ice Climbers. But, it’s nice to see them separated! It’s going to be interesting to see where Morty fits into the current meta of the game. Brawler characters tend to fit well with the competitive base. Maybe he can finally be an answer to Finn or Taz somehow?
