Atlus bringing Conception 2 to Vita, 3DS in spring 2014

Atlus USA has opened the website for Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars, which will be hitting Nintendo’s 3DS and Sony’s PlayStation Vita in spring 2014 for $39.99 on both handhelds.

I have to be honest, I’m not too familiar with this series, but according to RPGamer, Conception II is a turn0based RPG that “puts players into the role of a young man with a special power to defeat monsters that are infesting the land. To use this power to its fullest, he must pair up with special women to create Star Children to battle these demons. Players must strengthen their bond with the game’s seven heroines to increase their skill in combat.”

The good news for those of you, like me, who haven’t played the first game is Atlus is saying Conception II is a “standalone experience” so you won’t need to play the first game to know what’s going on.
