Good morning, and happy Monday, everyone! It’s the start of a new week, which means we have lots of exciting new releases to look at. Whether you want to blast into Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon or jump into Blasphemous 2, there’s something new for you. So, let’s not waste anymore time as we look at this week’s upcoming games.

WrestleQuest (Aug. 22)

Starting things off this week, we have WrestleQuest. Developed by Mega Cat Studios and published by Skybound Games, this unique title takes RPGs where they’ve never gone before—to the wrestling ring. Throughout the game, you’ll powerbomb and piledrive your way to the top through a breathtaking pixel art wrestling world.

Wrestling fans will jump for joy as they interact with such legends of the business like Jake “The Snake” Roberts, the Road Warriors, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and more. Combining the wrestling nostalgia with classic JRPG elements will make this game a must play for fans of either genre. WrestleQuest hits the mat tomorrow for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Fort Solis (Aug. 22)

Then, we have Fort Solis. Developed by Fallen Leaf Studios and published by Dear Villagers, this sci-fi horror game puts you on a chilling adventure across Mars. With each chapter of the game constructed like a TV show, the game offers an unprecedented cinematic gaming experience.

The game places you into the space suit of Jack, who receives an unusual alarm call from a remote mining base on the planet. As you progress deeper, you soon unravel the dark mystery behind what happened to the mining crew. Fort Solis comes to PlayStation 5, PC and Mac tomorrow.

Immortals of Aveum (Aug. 22)

Venturing into your home next is Immortals of Aveum. Developed by Ascendant Studios and published by EA, this action-packed magic shooter puts you in the shoes of Jak as he joins an elite order of battlemages. Throughout the game, you’ll embark on an epic quest to save the world on the edge of apocalypse.

As you play, you’ll need to master three colors of magic and unleash deadly spells. Are you ready for this groundbreaking take on the FPS genre? You can play Immortals of Aveum when it comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC tomorrow!

Smurfs Kart (Aug. 22)

Do you love The Smurfs and Kart racers? Then, boy, do I have the perfect game for you! That’s right! Smurfs Kart brings the beloved blue dudes and dudettes to the race track.

Developed by Eden Games and published by Microids, this fast-paced game answers the question of who the fastest Smurf in town is. Featuring both single-player and multiplayer, this game will be a blast for the whole family. Smurfs Kart races out to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One tomorrow.

Blasphemous 2 (Aug. 24)

Then, developer The Game Kitchen and publisher Team17, bring us the second dark chapter of Blasphemous. Picking up where the first game’s Wounds of Eventide DLC ended, Blasphemous 2 sends you on a perilous journey filled with dark mysterious and secrets. Throughout the game, you’ll have to fight your way through monstrous foes that stand before you and your quest to end the cycle.

As you play, you’ll have multiple weapons at your disposal with some brutal executions and expanded combos. In addition, you’ll need to master those skills as you face off against horrifyingly epic bosses. Blasphemous 2 comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC this Thursday.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon (Aug. 25)

Closing out this week is Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. Developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco, this mecha-based action title sees you pilot huge mechanical robots in epic battles. Placing you into the world of Rubicon 3, you’ll take on the role of an augmented human, who pilots one of the mechas as you navigate the dangerous landscape.

Throughout the game, you’ll undertake perilous missions for Extraterrestrial Mega-Corporations while facing off against determined resistance groups. In addition, you’ll be able to customize your mecha to suit whatever playstyle fits you best. You can blast into Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon when it launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC this Friday.
