A new Sonic Sessions has Lyn remix continue music

Even though it was technically last year, the celebration of Sonic’s 30th anniversary continues on for fans! SEGA seems to invent new ways to celebrate the blue blur for his anniversary monthly. One of the collaborations they’ve done is the Sonic Sessions videos. They are new remixes of classic songs in the franchise! The latest team-up is a wild one.

Below you can check out the video for a remix of the continue music from Sonic The Hedgehog 3 done by Lyn from the Persona franchise!

I didn’t think it was possible to remix a continue theme for a game; No wonder Lyn is a talented musician beloved by the gaming community. She brings a jazzy flair she’s known for to a piece in the Sonic games that shouldn’t work. But oh boy, does it! How can you not get through that video above and not tap your feet to the beat?

The video is also a nice nod to Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles. Fans of the game will recognize the sprite work as the one when you played as both Sonic and Tails. Also pretty funny at the end to have Knuckles barge his way in as well.

No word yet on if another episode of Sonic Sessions is coming soon, but I’m confident this isn’t the last. What do you think of this jazzy remix? Let us know below!
